Our main bedroom

Christina at Home bedroom

It is a new year and a new month and we are finally back in the house. The inspiration for the main bedroom came after we decorated our first three bedrooms downstairs. The rooms were decorated by interior designer Sophie Robinson and was filmed for a channel 5 show called ‘Dream homes makeovers with Sophie Robinson’. Sophie and the team really gave me the confidence to inject colours into the rooms upstairs.

I did create a mood board for this room as hubby was not in love with the colours nor the vision so I had to put some images down on paper but now he loves the emerald green 💚. I have listed the items below and where you can get them.

The room is 7 meters long so we decided to split the room into our sleeping area and dressing area. I wanted the sleeping area to feel albeit luxury meets cosy and I hope we have achieved that with emerald greens and mustard yellows. This room is only 40% complete we are still missing our plantation shutters and the dressing area still needs alot of work. Please see the picture below with links, if you want to shop our bedroom area. (click on the numbers in the picture and it will take you straight to the item.)
